I’ve got my 19th bun in the oven: UK’s biggest family has another on the way

THE parents of Britain’s biggest family are expecting child No19 after vowing they would have no more.
Sue Radford, 40, and baker husband Noel, 45, said despite the shock pregnancy they are delighted at the prospect of another baby.
Sue said: “It has come as a huge surprise. We were adamant that we wouldn’t have more. But it is a brilliant start to the New Year.”
The family claim no benefits and finance their brood with a successful family-owned bakery near their home.
The Radfords, of Morcambe, Lancs, spend £300 a week on groceries and pride themselves on having no credit cards or items on finance.
It costs £30,000 a year bringing up their brood, including a budget for gifts of £100 a child on birthdays and £100 to £250 at Christmas.
Each week they get through 126 pints of milk, 21 loaves of bread, 14 boxes of cereal and 28 toilet rolls.
Sue was first pregnant at 14 but the couple were determined to keep baby Chris, as both she and Noel were given up for adoption at birth.
Last year she had the now eight-month Hallie after losing Alfie when she was 23-weeks pregnant in 2014.
She said of the new baby: “We have had the 12-week scan and the baby is doing brilliantly. It is always a worry after losing Alfie so I make sure that everything is closely monitored.”
